My name is Jake, I am the owner of Northwest Mooring Services. I’m a graduate of the Divers Institute of Technology in 2006. I worked for Caldive International in the Gulf of Mexico and abroad doing commercial Dive work, to depths of 300 fsw using surface decompression chambers on surface boats. I learned the meaning of hard work and the attention to detail and inspection experience that it takes to do the job right in the marine environment.

I moved back to Washington state where I was born and raised and started working as an instructor at the Divers Institute of Technology. The Divers Institute of Technology is a seven-month dive school, that I’ve had the privilege of teaching at for the last 10 years. Being a supervisor and instructor has taught me a lot about responsibility, managing a large team and working with the public to find solutions. Trust and integrity are the foundation of my business.

For the past few years, I have been maintaining and servicing Mooring Buoy’s in the northwest. Northwest Mooring Services is the sole service provider for Alpha Marine Installations.

I have taken my experience through the years as well as the knowledge I have obtained and focused those skills specialized towards maintaining the Northwest Mooring system.

I am also a licensed Washington state home inspector (License #2071). Inspecting things for failure with a critical eye and integrity is what I do.

At Northwest Mooring Services, we specialize in cleaning, inspecting and repairing mooring systems throughout the northwest waters. Our service area includes Olympia to the San Juan Islands, we cover it all! We have two high speed vessels; a Munson landing craft and a Stabi-Craft, that allow us to stay mobile to service your every need and protect your most valued investments.

My Integrity and honor are fundamentals that I hold in high regard. Customer service, response time and doing the job right the first time are the foundations I have built my business on.
